Caustic Calcined Magnesia
Caustic Calcined Magnesia (CCM) also known as Light Calcined Magnesite (LCM) is a highly reactive form of magnesium oxide produced by calcination of Magnesite Ore at relatively low temperatures (>1000 °C). Our CCM is produced at our modern manufacturing factory at Haicheng in Liaoning province through multiple processing and sophisticated calcination of naturally occurring Magnesite Ore and sold worldwide under our brand name “SONGMAG®”.
SONGMAG® offer wide range of Caustic Calcined Magnesia with rich MgO content and balanced activity for numerous applications such as Agricultural, Feed Stock, Fertilizer, Millstones, Emery Stones, Abrasives, Rubber Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry, Waste Water Treatment etc. “SONGMAG®” Caustic Calcined Magnesia is available in a wide range of different purities (typically MgO 83 to 92%) and particle sizes such as #200 mesh to #325 mesh. The DBM is shipped from Dalian Port,China which is most ideal Port for Containerized and Bulk Shipments to Worldwide destinations.

Dead Burnt Magnesite
In China, Dead Burnt Magnesite (DBM) is burned in Annular Vertical Shaft Kiln, which are high temperature processing Units, where Magnesite Ore is sintered at a controlled temperature between 1700-1750 ℃. DBM is chemically inert and extremely heat resistant. Dead Burnt Magnesite is used almost exclusively for refractory applications such as wide range of Magnesia Bricks and Granular Refractories also known as Monolithic Refractories. Dead Burnt Magnesite has the highest melting point of all common refractory oxides and is the most suitable heat containment material for high temperature processes in Iron and Steel industry.
